Although the C4 Digital Dash is an impressive technological device it does have a few weak points. One of those weaknesses was the illumination of the cluster. From 1984-1988 Halogen bulbs were used until the Xenon filled bulbs replaced them. Known for their intense brightness, which is necessary in this application, the Halogen bulbs were very hot, sometimes even melting dash components and burning the bulb socket. These bulbs drew a lot of electrical current which put even more demand on the dash cluster's already taxed power supply. Also, the life expectancy of halogen bulbs is only about 1500 hours.

To provide a superior alternative to the stock bulb options, we are proud to offer our TrueColor LED Upgrade. Our bulbs are purpose built for this application. These units pull 1/30th of the power of the stock bulbs. Furthermore, these LED bulbs are much cooler then the halogen, which can be a few hundred degrees. Electronics and heat do not mix, so our LED bulbs will not only prolong the life of your electrical system by pulling less current, but will extend vital dash components with a cooler operational environment. Additionally, these bulbs can be expected to last around 50,000 hours of operation. This is 30 times longer than the stock bulbs.

The 1985-1989 Corvette TrueColor Dash Cluster Upgrade Kit is a great enhancement for the stock dash. The stock colors are brighter and appear more neon, even in daytime. When used with our Dash Lens Upgrade the effect is truly great as the colors are truer and the even the darker colors are much brighter.

Eight Color Combo's To Choose From

Color Combinations have two component colors. The first color, or Number color, refers to all graphics except the bar graphs for speedometer, tachometer and fuel graph. The second color, or Graph color, refers to the actual bar graph colors. (If the Graph color is RED, then the tachometer over-rev warning color will be white.)

WARRANTY AND RETURNS: The 5 years warranty period begins on the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper installation by either the customer or installer, mishandling of the item, misuse or abuse. Therefore, review and inspect all items as soon as received. See usmracer.com for installation instructions.

If you have received an incorrect item, or item has been damaged during shipment, please call toll free 888-876-7223 or 410-590-0007. Damaged items must be returned in original packing. Notify USM of any issue within 10 business days. There will be a 15% re-stocking fee imposed for returns. Returns must be received at our location without damage and within 20 days of the original date.

*** Please Note: Some circuit board bulb holes are damaged from over powering the bulb socket during installation. Be careful not to over twist the socket. Doing so can cause the socket contacts to ride past the circuit board contacts causing poor contact and/or damaged to the circuit board.
