Another C4 Intake Option As many C4 Corvette owners know, there are not very many performance intake manifold options available that completely eliminate the TPI set-up. In fact, there is just one that I can think of, as all others use the same base, runner and plenum configuration. The components may be modified (for example the runners may be larger, or shorter, and the base ported and/or the plenum redesigned), but the system is essentially the same, with, as I mentioned the exception of one. Well, make that two. USM is about to release an intake that will give C4 Vette drivers another choice in performance. This unit is a Holley Stealth Ram that has been modified to provide a bolt-on intake upgrade for both L98 and LT1 mills. These units not only fit under the C4 hood, but permit the use of the stock HEI distributor on the L98s and have an open base to keep the runners cool. The quality and performance of the original Holley Stealth Ram is now available for your Corvette. As a C4 owner I am very excited about this product.
